Spire employees came together during our annual United Way campaign to raise more than $1.2 million for the United Way chapters that serve our communities.

This year, nearly 1,200 employees volunteered at 110 community organizations across Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri, Texas and Wyoming, as part of Spire's Day for Good program.

$121,769 donated
In FY21, Spire matched 368 employee gifts, totaling $121,769 in donations to support organizations Spire employees care about most. Since the program began in 2017, Spire has contributed nearly $500,000 in matching gifts to area nonprofits.

Connecting customers with assistance

In FY21, we proactively reached out to qualifying customers, providing them with the information they needed to apply for assistance. Through these efforts, the families we contacted received more than $1 million in energy assistance.

3,469 families assisted with DollarHelp
When customers added $1 to their monthly bill, we donated $150,000, raising $1.6 million last year to help thousands of families on a limited income stay warm through our DollarHelp program.

Assisting customers with special programs
We continued our coronavirus relief programs in FY21, helping 13,742 households and 1,238 small businesses with energy assistance when they needed it most.
